Trowbridge skate park update

The young people and TCAF’s Brighter Aspirations youth workers have been working together in getting a much needed re-development implemented at the Stallards skate park in Trowbridge. We were delighted to hold our Christmas party on Monday 10th December at the Community HUB at BA14 in the Shires shopping centre. A number of trustees and volunteers enjoyed hot drinks and mince pies. The Mayor thanked three long standing volunteers from the Lions Club and Town Hall Arts and they were presented with a gift for their wonderful support. On 12th January TCAF are launching a Kindness cafe in the Hub, which will be a “support and share” meet up group where older residents of Trowbridge will have the opportunity to meet others and they will hear from a number of local organisations who can support them with independent living. Anyone who is interested is welcome to come along and join us.

HUB at BA14 Manager Zoe Meaden said “we are proud of the service that we offer to the community and it is great to meet so many of the lovely people of Trowbridge and to be able to connect them with the vast array of local services on offer to them.
