Community Hub open in The Shires Trowbridge!

Fifteen local organisations have pooled their resources and come together to open and run a Community Hub in the Shires, Trowbridge.  It opened on the 7th July 2017, and is manned by volunteers. The shop is located a few doors down from Waterstones book shop.

Trowbridge Community Area Future (TCAF) have co-ordinated this dynamic project which helps ensure that the Trowbridge community have direct access to statutory, community, voluntary and charitable groups in Wiltshire. Our vision is to create a space where the public can engage with all the members of the Hub, contribute to their community and neighbourhoods, gain advice, share information, signpost to other organisations, promote and advertise events, recruit volunteers and engage in activites and services. Various members will be available within a certain time slot of any given week, members include;TCAF, Learning Curve, Trowbridge Lions, Mens Shed, Trowbridge Town Council, Town Hall Arts, Victim Support, Wiltshire Counci, Wiltshire and Swindon Users Network, Carers Support Wilthsire, Friends of Trowbridge Museum, Friends of Trowbridge Sensory Garden, Group 5, Kennet Furniture Refurbiz and Selwood Housing.
