CEO
Meg Aubrey
Meg has worked in the voluntary sector for the past 20 years, specialising in youth and community work. She has previously worked in London and North Tyneside. Meg runs her own consultancy Paperboat, which has undertaken a wide range of evaluation, assessment and research work for grant giving organisations and publicly funded projects. Meg has a Social Science degree, University of Newcastle. She is a qualified Teacher and holds a MA in Development Education, Institute of Education, UCL. She is trained in Participatory Appraisal, University of Northumbria. Meg is an active member of Forest School Camps and regularly volunteers to take young people on residential camps.
Community Manager
Zoe Meaden
Zoe manages the Community programme and the Shires Community Hub. Previously a Marketing Manager for a large corporate organisation, Zoe has a wealth of Sales, Marketing and PRcexperience. Zoe is also experienced in fundraising, She was a Director of the White Horse Challenge for ten years, an annual charitable cause that raised over £168,000 in that time for Wiltshire Air Ambulance. She is a qualified Designer and has qualifications in Recruitment Practice and Employment Law and an ILM certificate in Management. More recently she has gained Emergency First Aid at work and Foundation Safeguarding. She is also a trained Mental Health First Aider.
Youth Manager
Deborah McLean
Deborah (Debs) has worked at Trowbridge Future since February 2019, Prior to this Debs worked for 15 years in a residential specialist school for Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome and other related disorders as a Senior Support Worker and Anti Bullying Officer. Debs has an NVQ level 3 in Caring for Children & Young people qualification, Access to higher education certificate in People, Work & Societies – Distinction and a WSCB Advanced Safeguarding certificate amongst other in house and external training.
Debs also spends some of her time mentoring within the local John of Gaunt school in Trowbridge and doing outreach youth work.
Youth Support Worker
Tilly Vowles
Tilly has worked for Trowbridge Future as a Youth Support Worker since December 2018, she started working as a sessional Youth Support Worker and in September 2020 became a full-time member of staff. Tilly has a BA Hons in Education Studies from the University of Gloucestershire and holds an award scheme gymnastics coaching qualification. Tilly has previously worked in a Primary School as a Learning Support Assistant and as a gymnastics coach. Tilly is currently working towards obtaining a Level 3 Certificate in Youth Work Practice.
Tilly is also very creative and makes handmade items that she sells at various venues and markets around Trowbridge.
Fundraiser
Fumié Izaki
Fumié joined Trowbridge Future in May 2024 as the Fundraiser. She has a history degree from Japan and studied international relations at York University. Fumié has over 28 years’ experience in managing European grants, including Erasmus+ programme through which young people could study, work and volunteer abroad; and supported many voluntary organisations. She was also involved in the creation of a Japanese Saturday school in Birmingham and volunteered as the treasurer.
Fumié moved to Somerset in 2023 and enjoys exploring the countryside with her husband and their dog. She also enjoys cooking and swimming.
Community Support Worker
Pamela Walden-Woods
Pam is thrilled to have joined this dynamic and much loved charity. Having worked for Relate Mid Wilshire in Trowbridge for many years she is bringing with her a passion for supporting people and families to get the best out of life, whatever their circumstances and challenges.
She works daily at Trowbridge Community Hub meeting people and offering signposting and support.
She lives locally with family and grandchildren to keep her busy outside work.
Community Support Worker
Nariman Ismaiil
Nariman joined us as a volunteer at Trowbridge Future in 2020. She has recently joined us as a Youth Community support worker. She is a qualified Arabic Teacher and holds a BA Philosophy degree from Alexandria University. Nariman has broad experiences within the childcare sector previously working as a Nursery Assistant. She has also volunteered at Barnardos charity. Nariman is a native Arabic speaker and has translated Arabic to English for families who are new in the UK whilst working at the Nursery.
Nariman enjoys oriental style cooking along with helping individuals from all backgrounds in the Trowbridge community.
Community Fridge Support Worker
Soumia Chafik
Soumia is responsible for co-ordinating the collection and distribution of food for the Community Fridges. She is an experienced food handler, with a background in food delivery with a National take away chain.
She has food hygiene and safeguarding qualifications.
Community Support Worker
Lynsey Stevens
Lynsey is a people person with a background in education, events organisation and fundraising.
She runs our weekly craft groups and commmunity cafes on the Seymour and Studley Green estates.
She always has a smile on her face and likes to make everyone feel welcome.
She has a passion for diversity and inclusion.
Community Projects Leader
Sarah Stacey
Sarah has a background in the voluntary sector and has worked in community settings in a variety of roles including community support and playwork. She has experience setting up and leading community projects and services.
Sarah has completed a range of workshops including mental health awareness, inclusion and diversity and safeguarding.
Sarah is interested in the therapeutic benefits of art on mental health. In her spare time time she volunteers for an arts and crafts group which runs children’s sessions and provides support to adults with SEND.
Her hobbies include art, gardening and walking.
Research Partner
Eden Hobbs
Eden is a student from the University of Bath studying Social Sciences on her placement year. She is here to assist in the development of Trowbridge Future and work alongside the team to help best support the local community by conducting research into the charity's impact.
Her hobbies include reading , music and yoga.
Youth Development Assistant
Kerry-Louise Bennett
Kerry-Louise has worked for Trowbridge Future as Youth Development Assistant since February 2024.
She used to work as a teaching assistant at a special needs school in the Trowbridge area. She has Level 3 special needs teaching assistant, level 2 childcare and is currently working towards her Level 3 Diploma in Youth Work Practice. Kerry-Louise is also qualified in Makaton and ADHD awareness along side autism awareness. Her hobbies are art, music and reading.
Youth Development Assistant
Emily Andrews
Emily has worked for Trowbridge Future since November 2021 and she also works full time at Studley Green Primary school as a Learning Support Assistant. Emily has a level 2 and level 3 qualification in supporting teaching and learning which she completed as an apprentice though Wiltshire College.
During her spare time, Emily likes to go shopping to keep up with the latest fashion trends and she also loves to bake!
Youth Development Assistant
Harry Rutty
Harry started working as a Youth Support Worker for Trowbridge Future in June 2022. Harry has a huge passion for sports and can often be found outdoors in the MUGA leading a game of football amongst the young people. He holds a bachelor's degree in Applied Sports Science from the University of Loughborough. Harry is a very keen footballer and spends most of his spare time playing matches all around the country.
Youth Development Assistant
Amanda Puckrin-Jones
Amanda started working as a Youth Development Assistant for Trowbridge Future in June 2024.
Amanda also works part time as a Trauma Response Support Worker and has previously spent 3 years working in an SEND school in Calne as a Lead Support, Intervention Coordinator and ELSA Support Staff. Prior to this, Amanda enjoyed 4+ years as a Support Worker for individuals with profound mental health difficulties and disabilities.
In her free time, Amanda can usually be found wondering the woodlands and countryside, secateurs and books in hand.
